About

About Garden Grove Excavation

Garden Grove Excavation is an excavation referral service serving Garden Grove, CA and central Orange County. It exists because the people who need a pool removed, an ADU pad graded or a sewer line dug up have had no way to learn what the work costs here without inviting three contractors over, and because the licensed operators who do the work well are usually too busy running machines to build a website that explains any of it.

Garden Grove Excavation is written and run by a property owner who has priced pool removals, pads and sewer laterals on his own properties and got tired of quotes that were one number with no breakdown. The site publishes the ranges licensed local contractors actually quote inside, explains the permit rules city by city and hands each request to one contractor rather than a list of bidders.

What we do

We publish a sixteen-row price table on the cost guide and keep it current with what the referred contractor quotes. We write one page per service and one page per city with the local ground conditions, the sanitary district and the permit counter. When you send an address, we check that the contractor's CSLB license is active and in the right class, that insurance is current and that they work your city, then hand them the request. They call within one business day.

What we never do

We do not hold a contractor license, so we never quote, contract or perform excavation work, and California Business and Professions Code section 7027.1 is why every page says so. We never hold your money; you pay the contractor on their contract. We never sell your request to a list of bidders. We never invent reviews or project photos for a site that launched without them. And the ranges on this site are never a quote from us; the written number comes from the licensed contractor after a site walk.

How the contractor is chosen

One contractor per request, matched on three things: an active CSLB license in class C-12 or A (C-21 for demolition), verified that week at the CSLB license lookup; current liability and workers compensation coverage; and a record of working the city the address is in, because a crew that has pumped a Fountain Valley pool pit or potted holes in the Anaheim Colony quotes those jobs once. The contractor pays us for the introduction. You pay nothing.
